My First Auction on Digital Point
After a couple months of sweating it, researching all that I could about it, I finally buckled down and listed one of my starter sites on Digital Point. It was quite nerve wracking. The auction is not even an hour old yet.
You can find it here:
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1922415
LOL. I know. It isn’t the biggest, baddest site you’ve ever seen. It’s a starter site. I’ve decided to work the developer angle and build as many sites as I can. I have a mini goal. I want to make $200 by the time the Puyallup Fair gets here in September. And that’s on the 10th. I want to be able to pay for a day at the fair with my hubby and my kids. Laugh all you want :P
After I reach that goal, I’m going to put whatever I earn into buying tools and plugins so that I can develop and offer better sites than what you see above.
As of this writing, there have been 54 page views to that auction. Wish me luck! It’s set to end on the 1st.

Caleb’s LIVE Flipping Case Study Webinar
I just finished watching Caleb’s 2 hour webinar and thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was quite refreshing learning from someone as young as Caleb.
Had to turn up the audio to hear Ashley talk but no big deal.
I haven’t decided on when I’m going to start buying and selling websites but I like the method as I don’t have to do a lot of work or spend a lot of time putting together a site. This is ideal for a stay at home mom like me who doesn’t have a lot of time to begin with.
As Caleb started searching for a specific type of site during the webinar, he pointed out reasons why he would or wouldn’t buy a potential site.
Ashley gave his pointers as well.
Caleb doesn’t hide the fact that there may be other expenses involved besides buying the site.
He also warns against buying and selling unethical sites on Flippa for obvious reasons.
During the webinar, they both encourage and take the time to answer the viewers’ questions.
Caleb lists off what should be done to a site that you purchase before you turn around and sell it for a profit.
It was great watching Caleb flip an actual site for everyone to see live on the webinar. I got to see him begin the listing process on Flippa, including the error that prevented him from listing the site at first
Hopefully the site Caleb put up gets the BIN price!
The webinar was definitely worth the price!
Note: The review above was my first review that I posted on the Warrior Forum. And if you click the link, you’ll see that same review in Caleb’s sales page lol. I was surprised to see my picture hehehe. Anyway, it was a good webinar, and no, the links are not affiliate links. I am not getting anything for putting up an honest review of the product.

Blog Flipping Bootcamp
Well I purchased Blog Flipping Bootcamp at around 9 pm this evening. So far I’m not impressed.
Since flipping is the route I’m taking currently, I research everything I can about flipping whenever possible.
The reason why I wanted to buy Blog Flipping Bootcamp was because it offers 30 videos. As much as I love to read, I learn better when I can see what needs to be done, step by step.
After reading the many posts in the thread and deliberating for a few days, I finally decided to buy the course tonight. Unfortunately, after I paid $37 for the course, I received nothing. I was sent to WarriorPlus.com and was told to bookmark the specific page. It thanked me for the purchase and there was an offer to opt me into the site’s email list. I ticked both boxes and clicked the button to get access to my original purchase.
Instead, I was directed to the WSO owner’s own optin email page. Again, I opted myself in. I figured if I didn’t like his newsletters or emails, I can easily opt out. Unfortunately, it sent me to this:
Not what I wanted. I refreshed the page and got the same thing. I backed out and opted in again. Got the same results.
Frustration set in quickly. I sent a message directly in that WSO thread requesting help. I also sent Alessandro, the WSO owner, to help me out. So far, no response.
I noticed that one of their previous customers didn’t get help until 4 days later.
Maybe I’m just too damn impatient. In this day and age, I’m used to getting instant access to ebooks and videos by getting automated emails with the info and/or files needed. But I didn’t get that and for some reason I felt robbed of my $37.
Some of you may not think that $37 isn’t much. Maybe it isn’t. But I’m a stay-at-home mom with a limited budget so I have to watch my budget and how I spend it. So I wasn’t too thrilled. Hopefully I get my access to the videos soon.
Update: I received a PM from Alessandro via Warrior Forum with the access details. I will start watching the videos and let you know what I think.

Plan of Action
For many years I’ve dabbled a little here… a little there… read a lot, researched even more ’till I felt like my eyeballs would bleed. I’m a researcher. I can’t help it. Unfortunately, that’s led me to a place called information overload. This causes me to absolutely nothing.
Recently, I decided that my main focus was going to be building and flipping minisites. It allows me to use my abilities: graphics, web design, and writing. My husband thinks it’s a good idea. He said it’s the first real plan I’ve come up with that has a good possibility of making me some money.
I’ve been waiting for the moderators of the War Room to accept my thread. It’s the one where I offer up a free pack of WordPress themes for the members. Unfortunately, they have yet to accept it. I sent for help in their support area and was told that it can actually take up to 4 weeks for my thread to be accepted. Holy cow! 4 weeks?!? I hate waiting.
I finally decided that waiting around for my thread to get accepted was a waste of time.
I spent most of yesterday gathering up all the ebooks I had on finding niches, building minisites, writing articles, and flipping sites and read them all. I took notes and condensed everything down to a few pages that I’m going to print out.
I finally finished my note-taking this morning. I’ve read and reread everything. I had to take action.
I started to get nervous as I purchased a domain that will collect emails from people interested in buying my websites, as well as a domain to create my first minisite. I’m on a very limited budget of $200. I was able to find a coupon online to use which knocked down the cost of my Godaddy domains from $20 to $15.
Since I’m on a limited budget, I’m using the free Bravenet mailing list. Once I start making steady money, I will switch over to Aweber.
I created a simple black theme for my main site and uploaded it. I had to go through the motions of adding the 2 new domains to my hostgator account, creating databases for both, as well as email addresses. I then uploaded and installed WordPress (an awesome free blogging platform that is widely used) onto both domains. I have to install the necessary plugins on the site I’m going to flip.
It’s been slow going not because I’m a novice at all this (I’ve been a webmaster since 1999), but because I’m nervous and don’t want to fail. I’m scared shitless.
