Pulled in different directions

That’s my problem. I overanalyze and try a little bit of everything. But I never heavily focus on just one thing. It’s probably why I haven’t been able to make a living online.

I’ve cleaned up my act a little bit. I’ve decided to focus on 2 different ways to make money online. The first one is to be a cartoonist selling my artwork on Cafepress and Zazzle products. Haven’t made any  money with Cafepress but I have made enough from Zazzle to buy my kids lunch at McDonalds. LOL! I gotta start somewhere.

The 2nd one is to focus on writing articles and building virtual real estate properties in the form of free and paid sites (ie. Blogger and WP sites on my own domains). I have delved in the free material available from Travis and Potpiegirl. And I wrote an article and created pages for Squidoo and Blogger. It’s a slow learning process because I’m afraid of failing. But I gotta do something instead of just sitting there worrying about failure.

I need to figure out a systematic way of incorporating tips from both Travis and Potpiegirl. Both are awesome, real people that are making significant amounts of money online. But I was literally all over the place trying out their tips the past few days. I had moments of confusion and dormancy. Fear of failure was starting to set in again.

So my next task is to figure out a simple system. I don’t want to be scatterbrained about this because it wastes time and energy. Wish me luck.
